You cant buy just the switch so I replaced the left hand grip. A heated right side grip just slides on like a normal grip and you just plug the end into the of the TGS. SAVE YOUR MONEY there is no need to take your Harley-Davidson motorcycle to the dealership to get heated grips installed.
The problem was the switch. Disconnect both plugs from inside the multifunction switch and then move them out of the way so you are then able to remove the 2 small screws that attaches the plastic attachment of the grip to the inside of the multifunction switch. Get the most out of.
Open the multifunction switch cover by removing the 2 small screws on the back. Cut the heated hand grip harness red wire to within easy reach of the battery positive terminal but DO NOT cut off the in-line fuse holder. I have a 2004 Electra Glide Classic with heated grips that arent working.
